Designers seem to have hard time to get know with new people. Conversations end up easely, if we start talking about design or explain what we do at the studio.

Last weeks I´ve been reading books outside in different parks. I like to sit next to lakes - weather has been excellent, ducks are begging for another piece of bred, and lot of runners are passing by. Some of them have stopped to ask me what I read. I usually show them covers or answer a´la "Emotionally durable design", "The design of things to come". They look bit confused after this. "Aha... oo-kay... eem, so you design chairs?". They´re gone before I´ve answered them back.

Sorry people, you picked up a wrong guy - find someone who reads "Da Vinci code" or some other popular stuff.
